Bhrigu Sutras is the English translation of Maharishi Bhrigu's book Bhrigu Sutram, which is supposed to have been authored by him. It is a forgotten but very precious old classic of Hindu astrology, describing, in a very basic, clear, lucid, logical, and comprehensible way, the impacts of the different planets in the twelve houses of the horoscope.
In accordance with the significance of the astrological nature, characteristics and functions of the planets, aspects they receive in conjunction with beneficial or malefic planets, and whether they occupy a house of debilitation or exaltation, the experienced author of this small yet very useful study has described the effects of the planets in each house.
The book contains a wealth of information on how to determine a native's character, moral disposition, and successes and misfortunes in numerous fields. It also gives vital information on the native's lifespan and prosperity, as well as that of his parents, brothers, and offspring. An examination of the book will persuade any amateur or expert astrologer that it is capable of accurately predicting the native's destiny and forming an opinion about how a planet is oriented in a certain horoscope.
