Due to the relationship of the human body with the solar system, the influence of the movements of the planets in the solar world also affects the solar system within our body. The Maharshis achieved divine visions, subtle intelligence, detailed knowledge through which they studied the solar system within our body and established the connection with the outer solar system. Then, with time the knowledge of Astrology spread worldwide. In different branches of astrology mathematics and prediction plays a major role. By these methods of prediction, the effects of planets on human life are envisaged.  
Once Lord Narayan was resting on the Sees Nag in the kshira Ocean and Goddess Lakshmi was pressing his legs. At that moment the greatest of all Maharshis entered Vaikuntha.  Lord Narayana’s gatekeeper Jai-Vijay bowed to him and said that Narayana right now is resting so it is not possible to let him go. Maharshi was disgusted by hearing this and cursed that Jai and Vijay have to take birth three times as demons, living on earth. Jai-Vijay stood silently; meanwhile, Rishi Bhrigu reached the place where Lord Vishnu was sleeping. Rishi Bhrigu’s anger went up when he saw Lord Vishnu sleeping and thought that Vishnu has closed his eyes after watching him coming.  
The sage booming in anger kicked Vishnu in his chest with his left leg. Lord Vishnu woke up and by joining, hands said- ‘O Maharshi!’ My chest is as hard as Vajra; your legs are so gentle. Did you hurt? I’m sorry.
Hearing this, Maharshis’s anger subsided, he realized his mistake and apologized to Vishnu, and started praising him. But Lakshmi became very angry after seeing this and said –‘O Brahmin! You have disrespected my Husband, so I curse you and your consort that their house will not be my residence, that is of, Lakshmi (wealth and abundance), and they will be devoid of wealth and wander as impoverished.
Rishi Bhrigu said- ‘O Lakshmi!’ I have already asked for forgiveness for my mistake committed in anger, however, the curse that you have given is out of impatience and is not desirable with your position and respect. The curse is fine, but I will create such an astrological treatise for our homeland Brahmins, based on which they will earn wealth by knowing the past, present, and future of any creature and you will be forced to stay there. After saying this Rishi Bhrigu returned to his Ashram and created the treatise called "Bhrigu Samhita".
