मधुपिंगलहक चतुरस्रतनुः पित्तप्रकृतिः सविताऽल्पकचः ।

शूरः स्तब्धः विकलतनयनः निघृणः अर्के तनुस्थे ।।

कालात्मा दिनकृत् , राजानोरविः, रक्त श्यामो भास्करो वर्णस्ताम्रः, देवता वह्निः, प्रागाद्या । ( वराहमिहिर)

Meaning: - Ravi's vision is red like honey. If you see it in summer it appears like honey. If you look at the sun from a microscopic view, it looks somewhat yellowish red. Therefore, the person whose sun is predominant has a very sharp vision, red lines are more in the corners of the eyes. The body is square.

Sun is dry and warm, so it is natural to have Pitta Prakriti. Hair is very short on the body. If there is the Sun in a female zodiac, then there is no hair. But if the Sun is in a male zodiac sign then there is hair.

सुवृत्तगात्रः मधुपिंगनेत्रः मित्रो हि पित्तास्थ्यकिधो न तुंगः ॥  (दण्डिराम)
