The Raja Guna have two forms one is Venus and the other Mercury. Venus represents the water dominance of the rajas Guna from where the animals are born and the Mercury represents the earth's dominant part of the rajas Guna from where the plants are born. In plants and animal kingdom the fundamental difference is the dominance of the earth element in plants and dominance of water element in animals. Due to the dominance of earth elements in plants, they are unable to move.
The earth element is inimical to the fire element as it always blocks the fire element. Animals are created mostly of the water element and very little amount of the earth element. In humans, the 75% constituent of the body is water element and the 25% is earth element, this 25% earth element blocks the light from passing through the body and is the enemy of the fire element. The Sun, Mars, and Ketu are the enemy of the physical body that we are having. The Sun causes the aging of our body and 75% of the water element is highly inimical to the air element. So as a result of which the 75% of our body is troubled by the air element and 25% of our body is trouble by the fire elements. The airy planets and the fiery planets are known as malefic planets. So the airy planets such as Saturn and Rahu and the fiery planets such as Sun, Mars, and Ketu are all malefic planets.
Ketu is the source of the earth but it is basically a fiery planet so as a source of the earth it is beneficial for the body but as it is a fiery planet it is not beneficial, so Ketu plays a double role. Jupiter is the ether element or the Akash tattva and is beneficial for everybody. Jupiter is friendly to every living being and hence is the beneficial planet of the highest order. 75% of our body is controlled by Venus and the rest 25% by the earth element or the Prithvi tattva. The Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra is given by Shiva to the Shukracharya and so by chanting Mrityunjaya Mantra we can ensure a good balance of the water element in our body. The stone of Venus that is, the diamond should be worn by someone who has cancer irrespective of their Ascendant. The predominant feature of the Earth is the ascendant. The ascendant is not the earth but the ascendant is on the earth and it is the horizon of the earth. The ascendant moves continuously on earth. Where the axis of the moon and the axis of the earth around the Sun meet together it is Rahu and Ketu. The Sun is so mighty that when he shows up everyone hides.
When the soul enters into the solar system the first planet it encounters is Saturn and Saturn will block the soul from coming inside the Solar system. If the soul comes and sees Saturn first then he will go away as Saturn plays the role of Yamraj. The soul encounters the tattva in the following order first Aakash, then Vayu, Agni, Jala, Prithvi, and finally the soul gets the Ascendant. Death comes when the consumption of the Air element ends. in a particular chat, Jupiter may be exalted but the consumption of the Akash tattva depends upon the Ascendant. we can see that the babies love everybody because of the dominance of the water element but after one year it starts drying up. When Venus is the morning star the Sattvik quality of the morning is disturbed. Venus is better in the evening. The Rajas quality is not good in the morning. Lord Ganesha kept Mauna brata (vow to keep quiet) to maintain the Sattvik quality.
